New Recruit as Business Expands

As we continue to expand, we have strengthened our team, with the appointment of well-known local land agent, Robin Earle.

Robin, who lives in Ovingham, Northumberland, studied at the Newcastle University School of Agriculture before serving with The Black Watch regiment in Northern Ireland and Iraq.

After leaving the Army, Robin joined the DEFRA Catchment Sensitive Farming programme as North East Regional Co-ordinator.  While there he attended Harper Adams University College and obtained an MSc in Rural Estate and Land Management.  Robin then retrained locally as a surveyor in the residential, commercial and agricultural sectors, during which time he founded the highly-regarded Northern Farming Conference, now in its fifth year, with farmer and solicitor Harry Chrisp.

“I am delighted to join Land Factor’s experienced team in the management of some of the most attractive estates in Northumberland” he said.  “I am really looking forward to getting to know as much of the south of Northumberland as possible and I hope I will contribute to many years of good stewardship in this iconic part of the country”.
