Land Factor is a Limited Company specialising in Estate Management based in Northumberland and operating throughout the North of England and Southern Scotland.

Land Factor provides a wide portfolio of services, including management, administration, capital tax planning, farm sales, valuation, project management, forestry and farm consultancy advice.

We specialise in rural property and are focused on the North of England. We do not attempt to be a “multi-disciplined firm”, but we aim instead to be the principal adviser to our clients, assisting them to choose other specialist advisers to suit each individual job. We believe that this approach gives clients greater access to a wider selection of specialists.

The three Directors, Tom Warde-Aldam, Athole McKillop and Peter Combe have great depth of experience in providing management advice, principally to private clients. Each has his own area of specialism outlined in the Directors Section.

Land Factor evolved as a management buy-out from Clark Scott-Harden in August 2004 and continues to manage much of the portfolio formerly looked after by JM Clark & Partners and Lowther Scott-Harden.

We aim to provide an innovative and modern approach, while providing the personal and professional service which our clients have come to expect back to the origins of the firm in 1847. We approach our clients’ problems as challenges, their crises as opportunities.
